Personal information we hold may include your name, current and previous addresses, telephone numbers, e-mail addresses, your employer and employment details if provided directly by you and as relevant to our purposes, your preferences and interests as relevant to your membership or potential membership with Star Results Pty Ltd, and information we require to perform our services to you, or to allow the organisation you work for to provide Star Results Pty Ltd with services. Further information may be collected with your consent in specific instances as notified to you.

Personal information entered into the Star Results Pty Ltd database will not be used or disclosed by us, except as authorised by you or as is reasonably necessary for the purposes outlined to you.

Should you choose not to provide personal information we may not be able to provide you with the services or may not be able to provide you with the services to a sufficient level that we regard as best practice.

Unsolicited personal information is personal information we receive that we have taken no active steps to collect. If the information we receive is not required for Directors International to perform one or more of our services or activities, Star Results Pty Ltd will destroy or de-identify the information as soon as practicable.

Star Results Pty Ltd takes all reasonable steps to make sure that the personal information we collect, use or disclose is accurate, complete and up-to-date. However, the accuracy of that information depends to a large extent on the information you provide.

8. Access and correction of your personal information

You are able to access your personal information that we hold, with some exceptions as allowed by law.

To obtain a copy of your personal information, contact requesting the information an Star Results Pty Ltd d we will provide you with a response within ten (10) working days. We reserve the right to charge a reasonable fee for the provision of this information.

Members can access and update their contact details and profile by logging in to their Account. For any personal information that can't be accessed and corrected through the website please contact Star Results Pty Ltd.

9. Variation of Policy

This policy may be varied from time to time in accordance with any changes to our practices or changes to the way we collect, use and disclose any personal information. Members will be advised of any such changes by Notice on the website.

10. Complaints

If you have a complaint about how Directors International has collected, stored or used your personal information, please contact Star Results Pty Ltd. We will endeavour to deal with your complaint and take any steps necessary to resolve the matter promptly, but within 10 business days.

If your complaint is unable to be resolved within 10 business days, Star Results Pty Ltd will advise you in writing including letting you know when we expect to provide our response.

European Union General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR)

Members based within the European Union have certain rights in relation to the personal information that Star Results Pty Ltd holds. Personal information in this EU Policy means information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.

1. Right to deletion

You can make a request to have your personal information deleted. However, this is not an absolute right and may only apply in certain circumstances.

2. Right to restrict processing

We can store your personal information but we are limited in the way we can process it e.g. by sending promotional emails to you. Again, this is not an absolute right and may only apply in certain circumstances.

3. Right to data portability

You can make a request for your personal information to be made available to you, or to another organisation on your behalf, in commonly used formats such as excel spreadsheets.

4. Right to object

You have the right to object to your personal information being processed. This includes direct marketing.

5. Rights related to automated decision-making

You can request that decisions made about you that are based on your personal information, you can request that those decisions are made by a human rather than an automated system or machine.
